The Biggest Indie Book Giveaway in History!

It's amazing what a seemingly small group of authors can accomplish when they pull together to create a great event. Thanks to our visionary hostess, Darcia Helle, from Quiet Fury Books and indie author of six novels, The Indie Holiday Giveaway Event is by far one of the largest I've seen this year, and perhaps, in indie book giveaway history!

I'm very proud to be part of this group both as a participating author and contest entry. Like most readers, I'm hoping to win a title from this original list. Often, I'm asked where can a reader find independent titles? Actually, in the same place a person would find mass market titles: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Powells and Borders. However, smaller presses don't get the exposure, front displays or advertising support.  There is a reason that the same ten authors (mostly ghost writers) are always boldly displayed at the entrance of stores or on the front page of online sites. Ever wonder how it's possible for James Patterson to release that many books in one year? The man must write in his sleep!

So, where do you go to find something else, original, new --something actually written by the author listed on the front cover? Unfortunately, a reader has to try a bit harder to discover these titles. Book blogs, Indie and Small Press review sites, Goodreads, Librarything and Smashwords are all excellent places to begin.

Why not start here, today, at Quiet Fury Books?  What other site has ever given away:
213 ebooks
74 print books

I'd say the odds of winning are very, very, good. In addition, while you're browsing you might find some new books to add to that forever growing TBR pile. You can make a big difference by supporting the indie and small press writing community. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I, along with all the participating authors, sincerely thank you for visiting.
